Blush and gold are such a classic wedding color scheme combo. Not only do the two tones complement each other, but the gold accents throw in an unexpected metallic texture to the wedding design that has a fresh and modern vibe. Down to Lindsay’s gorgeous floral embroidered gown, Lindsay and Nick’s classic wedding at Morais Vineyards was filled with small, beautiful gold and blush details that made their special day a hard one to forget!
The Winery’s rolling green hills were such a fabulous backdrop for the occasion. One of my favorite locations of the venue was the courtyard – the bride and groom were able to take some amazing photos in front of all of the arched windows and pretty French doors. And, the team at Morais was a dream to work with! The vendor team and I so enjoyed working in the space.
I used peonies and garden roses for Lindsay and Nick’s wedding flowers to pull together a classic, romantic and timeless look for their wedding. For classic styles, garden roses are the perfect option and are so versatile for any space and color scheme. Peonies have such a soft look and feel that they are the perfect addition to the classic garden roses. The combination of the two played perfectly with Morais’ ornate, yet light and airy, feel.
Of all the moments and details from this wedding that will stick with me, the most special were the moments when I saw the love that Lindsay and Nick clearly share for each other. Working with them was a dream because of their excitement and joy to be marrying each other. Their love clearly shone through the care they put into making their wedding a perfect experience for themselves and their guests. Congratulations, Lindsay and Nick!
