It feels so wonderful to write to you all again! As I’m sure you’ve heard, I’ve been incredibly busy over the last few months putting the finishing touches on The Posey Detail’s brick and mortar floral studio! On top of opening the full-service studio, I’m in the thick of wedding season and tackling wedding weekend marathons. I hope you all are ready to swoon over this year’s wedding prettiness because I’ll be featuring many gorgeous weddings right here on the blog!

About Me and The Posey Detail

11 years ago, I moved to Madison, Virginia during my senior year of high school. I was scared, nervous and excited all at the same time! I never rode in a pick-up truck before, danced in a field of fireflies, waved to people as they passed by, went to a high school football game where the whole town came out to support the team, or ever felt so much love in one place. To say I fell in love with this area is an understatement! I found the best girlfriends/guy-friends a girl can have, found my husband and got married in this small town, and found the absolute best of me here.

Now, 11 years later, I’m helping couples realize their dream wedding as a wedding florist, and opening up a storefront in the heart of Madison! My wish for The Posey Detail studio is for visitors to feel the same love and acceptance I found in Madison when they visit the studio, where we know your name and we treat you like family!

Weddings are our first love, and my couples have my whole heart! We now have a place to meet and chat details at the studio. And, couples can take a look at rentals and decor in-person to have the full design experience.
