It’s always a treat to lend my creativity not only to a bride and groom’s wedding day details but also to the bride’s wedding day look. Flowers crowns are one of my favorite ways to help brides perfectly finish their wedding day style. I’ve put together some trends and suggestions for designing the perfect flower crown for your wedding hairstyle!
Don’t throw every idea plus the kitchen sink into a flower crown design. Wearing a flower crown gives brides a natural look that’s perfect for a boho chic or rustic wedding theme, which means you should keep the design simple and a beautiful accent to your wedding hairstyle. I’ll work with you to narrow down two or three floral elements to include to give the flower crown some interest without overshadowing the rest of your bridal look!
I’ve used pale pink and white rosebuds in plenty of flower crowns to give them a soft, romantic feel fit for a woodland princess. Not only are they a clear choice because of their timeless and versatile quality, but they are soft and work in almost any design. And, whether you’re planning a fall wedding and want warm, deep colors or throwing a spring event and want to stick to a softer, pale palette, you can find roses in any color you could want.
If you’re wanting to keep your palette neutral, incorporate a lot of earthy greens into the flower crown to keep the look organic and naturally pretty. Ivy, ferns, eucalyptus; with so many options for lush greenery, there are so many unique flower crown designs to choose from.
Give me a call if you’re thinking about wearing a flower crown for your big day!
