I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving! It was a perfectly sunny day with just the right amount of chill in the air. I had a lovely day celebrating with my family, and hope all of you did too!
I wanted to share a wedding that I loved working on that had completely classic and timeless styling. From the bridal party’s bouquets to the ivory and green minimalist color scheme, Anna and Danny’s wedding was effortlessly classic and chic. They were married at Airlie Hotel in Warrenton, a sprawling estate with lush greenery and secluded grounds. The large, open estate and manor house feel was such a beautiful backdrop for Anna and Danny’s wedding. And, Anna’s gorgeous lace, strapless dress was the perfect finishing touch.
I loved the amount of detail that Anna and Danny incorporated into their day. They took on so many DIY projects that the reception looked just out of an HGTV show. The long banquet tables, crisp white linens, and green table runner flowed perfectly and gave the venue a modern and elegant feel. I especially loved the simple table number signs finishing off the guest tables!
In designing the floral details for Anna and Danny’s wedding, I was challenged to design using personal details from Anna’s family. We added lily of the valley to Anna’s bouquet and Danny’s boutonnière because her grandmother carried them down the aisle when she was married. It was such a lovely touch and made the details so much more meaningful. I absolutely love when I get these requests for designs that have a sentimental value. It makes the whole experience so special and memorable!
Congratulations, Anna and Danny!
