Hello sweet people – on the Posey blog today is a very special wedding to me. Stephanie and Alex are two incredible individuals with a lot of love for people. Stephanie is a wedding photographer in Virginia and Florida and is incredibly talented – she has worked tons of weddings and has seen it all! With that being said, I knew that their wedding was going to be perfect. They both started the morning with their bridal party’s. Alex and the groomsmen spent time at Woodbourne Estate and the bridesmaids spent time at Walden Hall. Afterwards they ventured to their wedding venue; the Market at Grelen.
Their first look was magical; the guitar playing in the background and the pure joy they have on their faces is priceless!
Stephanie and her best girls had beautiful bouquets filled with creams, greenery, and our favorite anemones! They also had monogrammed ribbons and the gentleman had personalized pocket squares with beautiful grey linen suits.
The details of their wedding were my favorite part I think – they had homemade cookies made from women in their family, a gorgeous cake from Gateaux, a coffee bar (can you say YES!) from the amazing Brick Wall Coffee Bar, and tons of beautiful signage by M + M Quilting. All of the rentals were from Serendipity and Bride and Joy. Not to mention blooms and greenery overflowing everywhere!
Lastly, and certainly not least, the ceremony. Stephanie wanted to make sure that the ceremony site included the beautiful mountains in the back drop, but still had blooms; so, Team Posey designed two free standing pieces. As they walked away from the ceremony as husband and wife, everyone threw flower petals to make it even more special. Below are a few golden hour shots as well by the extremely talented Annamarie Akins Photography
