The combination of ivory accents and greenery is a classic mixture of tones that perfectly finish a rustic wedding theme. For Beth and Chris’s wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards, I used ivory candles of different heights in glass votives and paired them with ivory roses and lush greenery. The candles and greenery really made Beth and Chris’s reception feel warm and inviting!
Beth and Chris’s ceremony was originally planned to be outdoors, but, because of rain, the ceremony had to be shifted indoors. Their faces when they walked into the impromptu reception space made all the stress from the day completely worth it! Between the roaring fireplace, the intimate banquet tables for the guests, and the twinkling lights strung throughout the space, the reception was so warm and comfortable. I also added a touch of metallic with geometric gold votives and roses on the tables to give the design a modern twist.
Working on Beth and Chris’s big day was very special, not only because of putting together the details but because I got to get to know these two incredible people. It was so special watching them reconnect after having dated in middle school! These two were really meant to be and I was glad to be able to help them put together their dream day.
My favorite design element of this wedding was the elaborate mantelpiece design that framed the fireplace at the front of the reception space. It was a gorgeous focal point for the reception that incorporated more elements of color to the space with dahlias and garden roses.
